Blah

So, I don’t really have anything of substance to talk about. I guess I live a pretty monotonous life. It goes something like this: sleep, get up, go to work, go to class, go back to work, study, stress out, sleep, get up even earlier to finish homework from night before…and so on. It seems when I finally get a bunch of tests out of the way more come up. Oh well, I guess such is the life of a student.

I had to quit watching the Giants/Angels game tonight to study for a test. I left it in the 5th with a score of 6-4 Giants. I returned in the top of the ninth about an hour and a half later and the Giants were winning 16-4. What the heck happened? I have a feeling it was a slurry of homeruns and an off-night on the part of the Angels. I will have to watch SportsCenter to get the whole story.

Also, I’ve decided I need to be more creative with this writing. So the two people who may wander across my site every month should look out for higher quality entries. 🙂

TGIF

This is completely cliche, but thank god it’s Friday. I don’t think this week could have taken any longer to pass. And I’m sure next week and the week after that will take just as long since I have a test in about every class in that two week span. On a brighter note, it’s D-Days weekend, so fun things are in store. Also, I obtained a set of A’s player cards on Ebay. Twenty-five of them for $1.00. No Mark Ellis, of course, because these were taken prior to this season. Oh well, I’ll still have a Zito and a Chavez.

Go ‘Yotes!

And More from the Crappy World of Sports…

Wow. I have had one rough weekend of sports. The Oakland A’s dropped both games this weekend to lose out in the first round of playoffs, and the Braves just pushed the knife deeper into my heart by losing their last two on Sunday and Monday to lose their series. On top of that, the Cowboys lost on Sunday, Hakeem Olajuwon (my all time favorite NBA player) is retiring Nov. 2nd, Pete Sampras looks close to retirement after dropping out of his remaining matches for this year, and Tim Henman is hurt. I don’t think I can take much more of this…[More]
